Hi5 & DYA Standardisation

About this event

Standardisation is the final stage of our quality assurance process for the Hi5 and Dynamic Youth Awards. This final stage ensures that all awards being submitted for certification meet the national standards and that the organisations supporting their delivery have robust and effective quality assurance processes in place.

At this online event, you will have the opportunity to see completed award challenge sheets and portfolios from various groups across Scotland and contribute to the standardisation process.,

You will get an idea of the standards required for each award by viewing examples of good practice and possibly examples that might fall short, helping your understanding of what is required when quality assuring the awards and developing your professional practice.

It’s also an opportunity to put questions about the quality assurance of the awards to experienced practitioners and build confidence in assessing and internally verifying the awards.

As you will be actively involved in ensuring that the awards submitted meet the national standards you will, as a minimum, have attended Youth Scotland-approved Hi5 and Dynamic Youth Awards Introductory Training and ideally have experience in awards delivery.

You cannot attend this event if a submission from your organisation is being standardised.
