Learn about young people’s rights and how you can develop a rights-informed practice in your daily work. In this workshop, we’ll learn the fundamentals of young people’s rights and explore how you can use cooperative techniques such as play and group development to help the young people you work with engage in learning about and exercising their rights.
Learning outcomes:
- Increased knowledge of young people’s rights, what they are and how they are protected under Scottish and International law
- Understanding of building rights-based knowledge into work with young people
- gained techniques and ideas for directly teaching rights to young people
