The workshop will look at area mapping and targeting the work towards young people; participants will look at our frame of reference towards the work – policy, procedures and practice recording; looking at understanding patterns of delivery and needs; and finally, looking at the development and management of resources required when in your community or out on the streets.
Learning outcomes:
- Increased knowledge and understanding of the need for mapping your area and how this can be done
- Increased knowledge and understanding of your frame of reference, which guides, supports, and manages your Streetwork practice
- Increased knowledge and understanding of gathering and understanding patterns through recordings made
- Increased knowledge and understanding of resource development and management as your Streetwork delivery develops.
