Introduction to Streetwork

Facilitated by TD1 Youth Hub, this workshop is designed for those new to streetwork and for those wanting to refresh their knowledge base, it will focus on important steps to consider before delivering streetwork, what streetwork is and isn’t and some scenarios based upon real examples of what to expect.

Streetwork is the first stepping-stone as it allows youth workers to support, track and identify young people’s needs where they are outside in the local community. In this session, you will gain a better understanding of delivering streetwork youth work, staying safe and gathering data within a policy led practice.
