Our accredited iLead training pathway was co-produced with young people and provides a youth participation and leadership framework that is flexible according to need. The programme develops young people’s everyday leadership skills including teamwork, communication, confidence and decision-making. iLead can be tailored to meet a range of outcomes across themes as diverse as physical activity, climate action, alcohol misuse, financial awareness, mental health, and grantmaking.
The pathway is divided into three stages: Engage, Empower and Advance. Each stage can be accredited with a Youth Scotland SCQF Levelled award.
- ENGAGE in a range of learning activities
- be EMPOWERed to turn your ideas into social action
- ADVANCE as a peer educator and young leader of others.
