About this Event
This interactive training workshop is aimed at staff that have completed Awards Introductory Training (Award Group Workers) and who have significant hands-on experience of supporting young people with their Youth Achievement Awards. The training covers in detail the assessment criteria requirements on all levels of the Youth Achievement Awards and how the quality assurance process is completed within the Delivery Hub and the wider Awards Standardisation meetings.
Participants will also gain knowledge of the quality assurance process at all levels that ensures consistent standards across Scotland, essential for the credit rating and levelling of these qualifications on the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF).
Learning Outcomes:
- You will understand the quality assurance checklist paper work involve with Internal Verification within your Delivery Hub
- You will understand the quality assurance process and the assessment criteria needed to support Award Group Workers on all levels of the awards.
- You will gain an understanding of how to complete the Standardisation feedback paperwork
- You will feel confident to support your delivery hub with the internal verification of awards portfolios.
This workshop is delivered online and a link, password and all relevant handouts will be emailed to you between 72 and 24 hours prior to the event.
