This online course is open to any registered Delivery Hub or Delivery Group (including awards registered member groups) that are approved to deliver Youth Scotland Awards.

- The course takes about 2 hours to complete, and you can do it at your own pace.

This module introduces you to Youth Scotland’s Hi5 Award and Dynamic Youth Award. It will help you understand how to promote, support and deliver these awards within a youth group, project, or school. This training is ideal for:
- Those who plan to deliver the awards
- Staff supporting or managing award delivery
In this course you will learn:
- The youth work approach used in these awards
- The plan-do-review structure that guides young people through the awards
- How young people can evidence their learning and achievements
- The quality assurance process that maintains high standards across Scotland
- How these awards fit into the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF)
By the end of this course you will:
- Understand what a youth work approach is
- Know the requirements for each award and level
- Be able to support young people at every stage of the plan-do-review process
- Help young people record and present their achievements
- Understand the quality assurance process and assessment criteria
