  • Full-time: 35 hours per week
  • Salary: £64,946 – £72,841
  • Based in Edinburgh (hybrid)
  • Permanent
  • 37 days leave (25 annual leave + 12 public holidays)

About Youth Scotland

Youth Scotland is the national charity for community‑based youth work. Our purpose is to grow and develop community‑based youth work so that young people can achieve their full potential. We deliver through four pillars: Membership, Programmes, Training and Youth Awards (Hi5, Dynamic Youth and Youth Achievement Awards).

The opportunity  

We are seeking a visible, values‑led Chief Executive to lead the organisation into its next phase—strengthening our network, championing youth work nationally, and working with partners and funders to secure sustainable impact.

You will bring

  • Strategic leadership and relationship‑building across government, funders and the youth work sector.
  • A strong understanding of Scotland’s youth work policy landscape and voluntary sector governance.
  • Finance and fundraising acumen, with experience of complex budgets and diversified income.
