Financial Awareness Toolkit Training – following on from Youth Achievement Awards Induction Training this is for workers looking to use the Financial Awareness Toolkit resource with young people to help raise their level of financial literacy whilst working towards a Youth Achievement Award. 

The Toolkit was developed by UK Youth and supported by HBOS (Halifax Bank of Scotland), and aims to help young people improve their money management skills.  The training session takes workers through the Toolkit and the activities and ‘Challenges’ designed to help young people improve their level of financial literacy, whilst working towards a Youth Achievement Award.  The ‘Toolkit’ helps young people to get to grips with issues such as renting a home, borrowing money and understanding their consumer rights.

The Financial Awareness Toolkit resource is only available with training.
