Involvement Training Tutor Training

Youth Scotland's Involvement Training programme is a structured first step to developing young people as leaders in their own communities. Find out more about the Involvement Training programme here.

The first stage in the Involvement Training programme is a one day tutor training course for workers.This training will:

  • Introduce workers to the Involvement Training programme
  • Equip workers with the knowledge and skills to support young people to deliver Stage 1 of the programme

Resources for the Training course are chargeable and costs are detailed below for Involvement Training Resource Pack including:

  • £15     IT Kit programme for Tutor delivery of Stage 1 alongwith a CD Rom of IT Kit handouts 
  • £13     The "Bored Meetings" Resource Pack
  • £5       The "Keep It Real" Resource Pack

Packs should be ordred at time or application, you do not need a full pack per person, unless you require the pack to be at different locations, purchase packs based on your needs.

Who should attend?

Youth workers (paid or voluntary) that are supporting a group of young people who would benefit from taking part in the Involvement Training programme.

Cost:

  • Free for Youth Scotland member groups, resources are chargeable
  • £25 per worker for non-member groups, resources are chargeable

Please note there will be a charge of £25.00 for non-attendance.

Places at the Stage 2 residentials are £100 per person (young people and youth leaders)
