Dynamic Youth Awards

The Dynamic Youth Awards recognise the achievements of young people aged 10 to 14 years.

The simple 5-step guide to Dynamic Youth Awards

step 1 register

Step One: Register to use Dynamic Youth Awards

Registration is simple and quick.  Click here to be taken to the registration page.
step 2 choose activities

Step Two: Young people choose which activities they wish to be involved in

This is an individual learning award, meaning it should reflect the interests and needs of the individuals who participate.  Participants choose the challenges (activities) they wish to work on.  There are no set themes or modules.
step 3 collect evidence

Step Three: Participants collect evidence as they work towards their challenge

Evidence can come in any format as long as it demonstrates the young person was working towards their challenge, and records the time they spent.
step 4 peer assess

Step Four: Assessment

Dynamic Youth Awards are first peer assessed, assessed by a worker, then assessed internally by a worker removed from the project.  Next, Youth Scotland externally moderated the Awards in a process accredited by ASDAN.
