A big shout out to all the young people, Big Music Project hubs and music champs who  turned out in force and joined us for Exchange 2016, 4-5th March at Platform, Glasgow.

Over the two days our music champs were treated to amazing performances by fellow musicians, inspiring talks from Music Industry professionals like Glaswegian Love Actually film composer Craig Armstrong, impromptu jamming sessions and got the chance to take part in a Richard Dyson Photography workshop.  Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Culture also announced additional £1.1M for youth music initiatives involved in local music projects in Scotland!

Well done to Robyn Anderson (West Lothian Youth Action Group) Shaun Quinn, (Tollcross YMCA) and Orla Flanagan, Sean Doogan, Lawerence Lister, Niamh Adams McGlip, Liam Curtis and Myles Clark from the Mid Argyll Youth Development Service (MAYDS) who gave some cracking performances and were handpicked from 100 entrants to perform live on the day! You are all amazing!

EXCHANGE is supported by Creative Scotland, The Big Music Project (Youth Scotland), Music for Youth and the Educational Institute of Scotland.
