O2 Think Big Funding
Mobile phone company O2 yesterday launched a £5m programme which will award cash-in-hand grants for young people to make a difference in their local communities.
‘Think Big’ gives 13-25 year olds the opportunity to obtain a £300 grant to fund projects aimed at addressing local issues, and replaces O2’s former ‘It’s Your Community’ funding programme.
Projects that are successful may also be eligible for a further grant of £2,500, and the programme will also provide training and support, working with O2 volunteers and a range of youth organisations.
The programme is being delivered in partnership with the National Youth Agency and UK Youth. Youth Scotland is looking forward to working with UK Youth to deliver the ‘Think Big’ programme in Scotland.
