Investing in Communities Lottery funding programme now launched

On the 30th June the Big Lottery Fund Scotland re-launched its largest grants programme for 2010 - 2015: Investing in Communities. This fund is now open and a new application form and guidance notes are available from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland website.

The Investing in Communities programme aims to bring real improvements to communities, tackle need and address inequalities. It will be investing in projects that help people, families and communities most in need. There are 3 main strands or ‘investment areas’:

  •   Supporting 21st Century Life
  •   Life Transitions
  •   Growing Community Assets

Grants of between £10,000 and £1 million are available and programmes can be funded for up to 5 years. Applications will be accepted until June 2015.

For more information about the types of projects funded through Investing in Communities, have a look at the leaflet or visit the Big Lottery Fund website.

The Big Lottery is strongly encouraging anyone thinking of applying to contact one of their team of advisors first to discuss their project, on NEW phone number 0300 123 7110 or by emailing enquiries.scotland@biglotteryfund.org.uk
