Domestic Abuse Campaign aimed at Teenagers
The Scottish Government has launched its first-ever domestic abuse campaign directly aimed at children and teenagers.
The new campaign, which was developed with a group of young people, aims to encourage those living with abuse to speak to a trusted adult, phone ChildLine on 0800 1111 or webchat at www.childline.org.uk .
Over the last month, posters have been distributed to 376 secondary schools in Scotland alongside a six-week online viral advert running on Facebook, MSN, YouTube and popular music and magazine sites. Please feel free to share/display the poster in your group/organisation meeting space or around your networks.
