Are you involved with IT yet?

Youth Scotland's Involvement Training is a structured programme for supporting young people aged 14 plus to take a leadership role in their community.

Young people, in partnership with their youth leaders, participate in a programme of training. The programme includes a residential for groups to develop their skills. Using these newly developed skills, young people then take on responsibility for developing a project of their own choice in their community.

How can you get involved?

To deliver the programme, groups must first register with Youth Scotland and youth leaders need to undertake a day of Tutor Training. Tutor training costs £75 per worker and includes the IT resource pack. Affiliated groups receive their first 2 Tutor Training places free of charge.

Places at the Stage 2 residentials are £100 per young person or youth leader. There is no time limit on when these places can be used and you can buy as many places in advance as you wish (or your funding allows!)

Involvement Training Tutor Training days will be available throughout 2011. The next dates available are:
