 FUNDING NEWS

Important: Lloyds TSB Foundation - Funding suspended

The Lloyds TSB Foundation, which was responsible for £6 million worth of funding per year to Scottish charities, has suspended their grant programme for the foreseeable future.

All exisiting funding agreements, including multi-year awards, will be honoured and the foundation will be making final awards in December.

This decision will have a great impact on youth work organisations. In 2009 61% of the Lloyds TSB Foundation fund was invested in work with young people. Youth Scotland therefore urges all groups and contacts to get involved in campaigning against this decision.
